Beautiful Places To Visit In Turkey, Turkey is a beautiful country that has many diverse landscapes. From the beaches to the mountains, there are many natural beauties in Turkey.
Pamukkale: A city located near Denizli with pools of calcium carbonate cascading down over terraces and it was first discovered by King Antiochus IV as he traveled through Selçuk on his way back from war against Rome.
The king ordered his architect Diogenes to build him a bathhouse here and after noticing its health benefits, he named it Hierapolis which means “sacred temple”. Now tourists come here for its healing waters because they believe that bathing in these mineral rich waters will cure skin.
About 10 years ago, I was on a trip to Turkey with my family. We had the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places in Turkey. One place that stands out is Cappadocia, which has amazing rock formations and houses carved into them!

Istanbul

It was once capital to Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman empires which left behind some spectacular buildings like Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque as reminders of its past glory. The Cisterns are underground chambers built by Romans who wanted to store water from Solomon’s Pools before they were transported through aqueducts into the city center; this site can be found at Underground Cistern Museum where you will get a glimpse into Istanbul.
There is no better way to experience Istanbul than on a bike. I had never been before, but after spending three days biking through the city I felt like locals were welcoming me back home.
The few hours each day we spent riding around was an amazing opportunity for us to explore and get lost in the historical streets of this beautiful city. It was so much fun feeling free and independent as we pedaled our way from one site to another.
Antalya

Konya is a city in Turkey that’s been the center of Islamic culture for centuries. It boasts beautiful historical architecture, such as mosques and palaces. Konya was also home to the Sufi mystic Rumi, who led an important social movement during his lifetime.
The city offers plenty of opportunities for adventure seekers with its stunning natural surroundings, including hot springs and mountains perfect for skiing or hiking. If you’re looking for a trip that blends history, culture and nature into one memorable experience then Konya is just what you need.

The region (historically known as Pontus) was once home to many civilizations who had established trading posts or colonies along its shores including Hittites, Scythians, Persians, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans throughout history. Today’s Trabzon still reflects this long history with its mix of Byzantine churches and Ottoman mosques in the old town area; this beautiful combination creates a scenic view for visitors from all over Turkey to explore.
